Low Voltage Rescue and First Aid Training for Electrical Industry Workers

Blue Tongue Safety Training provides Low Voltage Rescue and First Aid training (UETDRMP018 and HLTAID011 – Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage Panel and Provide First Aid) for Electrical Industry Workers across the Clare Valley, Barossa Valley, Mid North and Riverland in South Australia.

This does not include overhead lines and underground.

It sets workplace rules for inspecting and using LV panel rescue equipment that applies to ESI and electrical industry workers. This helps them meet WHS requirements.

The training also covers industry-standard PPE and rescue equipment. It includes safe approach distances, site hazard reviews, outlines isolation processes and details emergency response requirements.

This training follows first aid guidelines set by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other national clinical bodies.

Because this industry is high risk, this program is mandatory for some roles.

In these roles, employees must develop or maintain their professional skills.
